Bahamas | Take 2 | December 30, 2022

Hope Town, Elbow Cay, Abaco Islands, Bahamas

KORKZcrew is the blue dot on the map

I am officially proclaiming today as "The Day of Too Many Pictures" day. That's the kind of power that I wield around here. Not that it really distinguishes it from any OTHER day of my life, but it kind of gives you fair warning of what's about to come if you dare to venture forward with this post. 😱 (Unwritten rule: a day with too many pictures requires a title with too many words.)

It's not that we accomplished so much in one day. It's literally that I took too many photos and videos of the few things that we did. 😂

So here goes, starting with images from our daily morning walk on the beach, where the wind had finally subsided enough that I could take a spin with my drone.

Complete strangers on the beach 😂

Too many drone pictures

One of my favorite things to do on this trip has been going on long dinghy rides to explore the areas around us. I guess I'm officially an old lady and this is my version of a Sunday drive. But I love it. Ron took Steve and me on an extended tour of Hope Town that went well outside the harbor where KORKZcrew was moored. We just did a big loop, looking at some amazing homes on the water, some under construction, and another home that was on its very own island. Crazy.

Here was today's route. That blob on the map near the North End Dock is the home we passed that's on its own island — you'll see it in a video and photo below (but of COURSE you will, because, hey, it's TDOTMP Day!).

Cap'n Jack's is a popular restaurant right on the water. You can take a dinghy and park just beside the restaurant.

Coming back into the harbor, Steve had some fans on a nearby boat, smiling and waving at him. They were really cute and enthusiastic.

Back to KORKZcrew just in time to take too many pictures of Skeet on the bow, and too many pictures of Steve at the end of the day.

For both of you who made it this far, thanks for indulging me with TDOTMP Day, at least until I do it all over again tomorrow. 😘
